The Philadelphia Eagles have not had a linebacker worth mentioning since the days of Jeremiah Trotter in his prime.  Much to many Eagles fans’ chagrin, Andy Reid doesn’t seem as though he puts much emphasis on this position.  You can say he tries but he does so mostly by investing mid to late round draft picks and players he can get on the cheap.  In his 12 seasons and 13 drafts, Reid has yet to find a blue chip linebacker (he inherited Trotter).
